Challenge

Manual management of hundreds of MikroTik routers across multiple sites, with no unified visibility or automated provisioning.

Solution

Centralized SNMP monitoring platform, configuration automation and bulk provisioning via API.

The ISP managed router inventory in a spreadsheet and every incident required manual SSH into each device. We built a platform with a Python backend that discovers, inventories and monitors each device via SNMP, stores metrics in a time-series DB and exposes Grafana dashboards per POP. NETCONF automation provisions new sites from a template — the field technician scans a QR and the equipment self-configures. First-level support now sees the full state in one pane and can restart interfaces or change QoS without touching the equipment.
